One of the best ways to learn languages is exposure. Students learn best when they are exposed to as many texts and vocabulary. They learn more when they are surrounded by a larger lingusistic community.
As
teachers and mentors we must understand the implications of what our students and
learners could face when they are exposed to other cultures especially via
technology.
We have to prepare ourselves and our students to deal with
cultural-misinterpretations if not this inter-relating especially through
technology could develop some serious complexes for them.
Language is a media of learning and expression and students should learn so through our curriculiums.
