Here is my reflection about lesson planning:
While planning put objectives for student learning, teaching/learning
activities, and check student understanding. You do not have to write a template
but a number of steps is essential to be on track.
Be active and flexible.
To be effective, the lesson plan does not have to be a document
that describes each and every possible classroom scenario. Still, it should
provide you with a general outline of your teaching style, goals, learning
objectives, and methods of teaching.
Develop a routine and let your students
know what they will be learning and doing in class. Writing a brief agenda on
the board of what they will be learning and doing in class is very effective as they will know what you
will do and their role.
