Week 8

The week was a productive week as ever. I did the draft of the project and sent it   I also watched two videos on nicenet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-c8l8el8oU, using online portals to enhance education, tools of the new technology that can be used to enhance education https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1IRkqbUoXY
I browsed through the Website Tools for Educators http://www.toolsforeducators.com/. It is a helpful website though exercises are till grade six. Still, you can use the exercises, worksheets and certificates and customize them or create your own using their resources. I also browsed through http://print-bingo.com/ and created my first bingo customized card. I created an account on easy test maker http://www.easytestmaker.com/ but I was not able to create a test. I also visitedhttp://www.lakeshorelearning.com/general_content/free_resources/teachers_corner/flashcard/flashcardmaker.jsp, and the page http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/general_content/free_resources/teachers_corner/w
for creating Wordsearch exercises, as well as http://www.crosswordpuzzlegames.com/create.html two that includes a lot of free resources that I still need to be familiar with.
The week ended up by being introduced to http://hotpot.uvic.ca/, the games section on American English Website http://americanenglish.state.gov/resources/activate-board-games, and the trace effect website http://traceeffects.state.gov/
Still, I have to read my peer's project and check whether she follows the creation demanded which I will do today.

  1. Dear Rasha,

Having such intense and helpful websites with educational tools to create your own tasks in teaching will make our career easy.

I have also the same problem creating a test which disappointed me a little bit. However, comparing to tasks I have already created, I still saved time and effort.
Thanks for sharing your thought again.

  2. Dear Rasha:

You must have enjoyed your week .It is very fruitful and creating games seems to be very attractive to our students. We need to grasp the technology tools being within the reach since the teaching and learning world is changing .As teachers,we should be keep in touch with any technology device that leads to engaging students and creating learner autonomy.

I wish you good luck in your final project.

    Regards
